Prepared for Another Round by Gift

Website proposal

Four ways your website
could look and work.

Every one of these is a real, working page built with your own photography and film — and your real trading details. Not a picture of a website. Open them, scroll them, try them on your phone. Then tell us which one feels like your room.

Pick a direction

The four designs

They share the same words, the same photos and the same information. What changes is the mood — and what each one puts first.

Design A, a dark restaurant and bar layout
A

After Dark

Dinner and drinks first

Dark, warm and cinematic. This one reads as a restaurant you book for dinner, with a bar that keeps going afterwards.

  • Full-screen opening photograph
  • The day laid out in hours — 7am to 8pm
  • A drinks list that feels like a bar menu
  • Best if the evening is where you want to grow
Open Design A
Design B, a light all-day cafe layout
B

All Day

Coffee and brunch first

Bright, friendly and confident. The corner cafe people walk to on a Saturday — that also happens to do a proper dinner.

  • Your plates become the menu navigation
  • Every dish gets its own photo and description
  • Dog-friendly and post-parkrun breakfast up front
  • Best if mornings are your busiest hours
Open Design B
Design C, a clean classic layout
C

Classic

Simple and timeless

Clean, centred and calm. Nothing to distract from the food and the details people came to find. The safe choice, done properly.

  • Everything in one easy scroll
  • A printed-menu feel, easy to update
  • Loads fast, reads well on any phone
  • Best if you want it simple and long-lasting
Open Design C
Design D, a video-led layout
D

In Motion Video

Your kitchen, moving

Built around your film. The page opens on a flame under a pan, and the cooking keeps going while people read.

  • Full-screen silent video, playing on loop
  • Three short clips through the page — the knife, the bar, the dessert
  • Falls back to a still photo on phones and slow connections
  • Best if you want people to feel the kitchen before they read a word
Open Design D

About Design D and the video

We went through all 299 clips you shared and picked the five that loop best without a visible cut — the flame under the pan, the sauce going onto the shank, the knife through the crackling, the shaker, and the icing sugar falling. They're cut to a few seconds each, silent, and heavily compressed so they don't slow the page down.

Video is switched off automatically on phones, on slow connections, and for anyone who has asked their device to reduce motion. Those visitors see a still frame instead, so nobody waits and nobody burns their data.

What you get

Included whichever you choose

The same build underneath. Only the styling changes.

01

A menu Google can read

Written as a real web page, not a PDF or a photo of a menu. That means your dishes can turn up in search results, and you can change a price yourself in seconds.

02

Built for the phone

Most people will find you standing on the footpath. Hours, address, phone and the walk from the station are never more than one tap away.

03

Your photography, used properly

Cut and optimised at every size the site needs, so the pictures look sharp without making the page slow.

04

Found on Google Maps

We set up the search markup so your address, opening hours and menu feed straight into Google, and help you claim your listing.

05

Yours to edit

Built on WordPress with no bloated page builder. Change your hours, swap a dish or post a special without calling anyone.

06

Compliant from day one

Public holiday surcharge worded the way the ACCC requires, allergen wording, privacy policy, and accessibility built in rather than bolted on.

How it runs

From here to live

  1. You pick a designA, B, C or D. Mixing elements between them is fine — tell us what you like from each.
  2. You send us the real detailsYour final menu with prices, your trading hours, and confirmation of the photography we can use.
  3. We build itThe chosen design becomes a real WordPress site on your hosting, which is already set up and waiting.
  4. You review itYou see it on a private link and we make changes before anyone else sees it.
  5. We go liveDomain pointed, search engines switched on, Google listing claimed and filled in.

Two things to sort out with us

Photography. The photos in these designs are the ones you supplied. Before launch we'll confirm in writing that you hold the right to use them online, and swap in a fresh shoot of the room and the current menu if that's easier.

Drinks. Design A leans on the cocktail list. If the liquor licence isn't in place yet, we'll leave that section out and add it the day it lands.

Which one feels like your room?

Reply with a letter — A, B, C or D — and anything you'd change. We'll take it from there.

Send your choice
